One of Octuras original series props that has been made for fast electric hydros/riggers.

This was one of the original moderate lift OCTURA drive dog props from the 1950's, a series that was never advanced on and for which there are only 4 sizes. Produced only in the blue plastic this material is very strong. Back in the 60' a customer used to run the Z60 on a multi hull with a Rossi 90. He never broke a blade off in normal racing and use, except when coming into contact with another hull, which of course is the case with ali props.
For 2011 OCTURA have now added a fourth prop in metal, suitable for fast electric hydros

The 4 sizes are Z50, Z55 & Z60 & Z35/3

One of the original design propellers from Octura. This propeller works extremly well as a convention drive prop but works very well on Hydros and can be used on monos depending on the drive set up. It has a medium to high lift.

Many of the props are available in glass filled plastic which makes them fairly robust.
The brown coloured props in the picture are the 1400

Smallest of the 19 series rigger/hydro props with a 1/8 (.125") bore"

The M series props have been modified to help unload them by the removal of the ears.<BR><BR>  The smallest 3 blade prop for a 1/8" shaft.

 1/8" bore which we can thread 4mm if required. 27mm dia. 1.5" pitch

The smallest of the X6 series with a 1/8 bore. Can be threaded 4mm."

The X5 series props have a reduced blade area very similar in profile to the prather props. Their pitch to diameter is a 1.5 : 1 Ratio. At present there are only three props in this series as the number of props in the X4, Y5, & X6 series more than accomodate the requirements needed by set ups.
Blade profile is the same as the Prather props.

A reverse rotation prop for twin drive set ups.

 

Smallest of the V9 series props.

Good high torque 7.5cc - 10cc rigger/hydro prop. 50mm diam. x 3.74 pitch. Balanced & polished +£5"

This is the ideal prop to replace the Prather 275 prop. The Octura prop gets a better bite of the water and has a lot less slip thus giving higher top end speed.

Your X447 loading your engine too much. no need to modify it, just fit the M447.

 1/8" bore can be threaded 4mm. The material used in these props is very strong. 31mm diam. x pitch 1.71"

 

Good 11cc rigger/hydro surface prop

10% more pitch than the X4 series. An ideal replacement for a X445 which will give more speed or an X447 if it is loading your motor too much.

Prop has a 1/8" bore which can be threaded 4mm. 32mm dia. x 1.67" pitch.
